Not far from the village center in Zwieselstein, Josefa and Peter Elzenbaumer opened the now well-known Gasthof Brückenwirt - Josefa has retired and Peter unfortunately died too early in December 2019 after a very serious illness.
The two sons Michael and Martin and their wife Sigrid have been successfully running the inn since 2019.
From September 2019 to December 2019, they gave the house a contemporary outfit that, like the company philosophy, brings tradition and modernity into harmony.
The spacious panorama restaurant with pizzeria and large dining room in the middle of our house bar as well as 2 cozy conservatories surrounded by a wonderful mountain scenery make the stop a culinary and hospitable experience.
The house has 22 rooms, 18 of which are on the 1st and 2nd floor and 4 rooms in the basement of the older part.
Double room / single room / multi-bed combination room with 2 separate bedrooms of which 1 double room and a single room with shared bathroom are available in this variant.
The rooms are comfortably furnished and have box spring beds, TV, some with and without balcony, shower/toilet, free Wifi... and are very bright and spacious...
In the past, people made their way to stop off at the former Brückenwirt.
